Ghana MTC
It was so nice to hear that Brady has arrived safely in Ghana! We all knew his plane landed safely as we involuntarily woke up every half hour until 2:30 a.m. when flight tracker said the plane had landed in Accra. Although we know he is in good hands, we have been pacing around while performing our regular tasks all day. Brittni has been pacing while doing her 'Africa dance', which she tried to teach Brady before he left, but he hadn't mastered it yet. His version may ward off mosquitoes though, which is a good.
The Ghana MTC is in Tema, pronounced \ˈtā-mä\.

Here is some general information about Ghana.
Ghana is one of West Africa's most popular tourist destinations. It's a relatively safe and friendly country filled with interesting historical sights, lots of culture, colorful festivals, good beaches and decent wildlife parks.
Area: 239,460 sq km, (slightly smaller than the UK).
Capital City: Accra
Population: Over 23 million people live in Ghana
Language: English (official) and many African languages including Akan, Moshi-Dagomba, Ewe, and Ga.
Religion: Christian 63%, Muslim 16% and indigenous beliefs 21%.
Climate: Ghana has a tropical climate, it is warm and comparatively dry along southeast coast; hot and humid in southwest; hot and dry in north. There are two rainy seasons, April - June and September - November in the center and south; March - September in the north. Accra is less rainy than the area slightly inland.
Currency: The Cedi. $1.00 US = 14,674.2 Ghanaian Cedi. Pronounced \ˈsā-dē\
